Kamalini Learnt Bharatanatyam and is a very good dancer in that classical form.

After her graduation she attended a workshop on theatre in Mumbai, which helped her a lot in learning acting.

Kamalini Mukerjee was born in brought up in kolkata. Her father is a well eastablished businessman in the city, where as her is a mother garment designer. She has two younger sisters.

She is a very active girl having too many hobbies. Her hobbies includes Painting, Cooking, Listening music, Writing poems, Watching films and dancing.

She gained fame in the award winner, telugu movie in Anand in 2004.

Her acting in Hindi film debut was through Phir MIlenge in 2004. The film was based on the subject of AIDS. Unfortunately the film went unnoticed despite of strong script.

Kamalini Mukherjee charmed the audience with her maiden Tamil film Vettaiyadu Vilayadu. She was very fortunate to be paired with the legendary Kamal in her very first Tamil venture.
